Scripture talks about seasons. It says there is a range of seasons in our lives that occur throughout our lifetime. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry. Sometimes we are silent, sometimes we speak.
Ecclesiastes 3:2-8 elaborates on our different seasons so eloquently. “A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted, A time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build up, A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing.”

My life as a Christian began when I was quite young. My mother took me to church as a child where I gave my life to the Lord by accepting Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Saviour. I felt different instantly. My spirit was cleansed and I felt the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Christian walk has been tough. It isn’t for everyone. Most people believe that when you become a Christian, you instantly lead an easier life. This isn’t the case at all.
I’ve suffered as a Christian. I’ve been through things that most people wouldn’t want to go through.
So why do I continue to trust Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour then? The answer to that is I would rather go to Heaven than live the rest of my days burning in Hell.
As I’ve previously written, Hell is a real place. The Bible speaks about Hell quite vividly.

(Leviticus 18:21) You shall not give any of your children to pass through the fire and sacrifice them to Molech [the fire god], nor shall you profane the name of your God [by giving it to false gods]. I am the Lord.
(Leviticus 20:31) Turn not to those [mediums] who have familiar spirits or to wizards; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.
I had a dream about Hell. It’s not a place you want to spend eternity in. My dream was more like a nightmare.
In this dream, I saw darkness all around me. Lurking in the darkness, were red eyes of different shapes and sizes evoking fear and paranoia in me.
(Revelation 21:8) “But as for the cowards and the ignoble and the contemptible and the cravenly lacking in courage and the cowardly submissive, and as for the unbelieving and faithless, and as for the depraved and defiled with abominations, and as for murderers and the lewd and adulterous and the practicers of magic arts and the idolaters (those who give supreme devotion to anyone or anything other than God) and all liars (those who knowingly convey untruth by word or deed)-[all of these shall have] their part in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone. This is the second death.” [Isa. 30:33]
Jesus didn’t come to earth to lie, kill and destroy. He came to bring new life to all people. Jesus loves us all. He wants us to all come to repentance before He returns to earth.
(John 14:21) “The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me, and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him]”
