As Christians today, we are bombarded with images and music that appeal to our flesh…
We live in a fast-pasted world that promotes instant gratification. The world says, do what makes you happy. But Christ says, deny your flesh and you will become Christ-like!
(Luke 9:23-24) And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.
Jesus is clear. Do not conform to the world. This includes watching television shows that appeal to the flesh (Pornography) and also listening to secular music that promotes sex before marriage and sex with multiple partners.
As believers, if we are going to become Christ like, we must engage in behaviour that protects the temple of the Holy Spirit who dwells inside of us. We must stay PURE! Amen.
