HOW to love?

I don’t know how to love. I wasn’t taught. What does that mean?

Am I an alien from another planet? Am I a weirdo? Would I be normal if I were a man?

As Women, We are not taught how to love. As a woman, we are taught to look after a man and ensure they are well fed and nurtured. But we don’t know how to love.

One of my favourite genre’s of music is Rhythm and Blues. It speaks to me. It taught me how to love.

Jesus loved. He taught Women in the Bible how to love.

Take the women who committed adultery.  She was stoned by men. Stoned because she didn’t know how to love. (John 8:5)

What are we doing?

Jesus didn’t condemn the woman caught in adultery. He offered her hope for the future. He just reminded her not to sin anymore. (John 8:11)

The Bible is littered with examples of Jesus defending women. There are more events captured by women being abused by men, but they were not recorded in the Bible.

I can’t play my music loud or they will take me to mental health and admit me.

I can’t be a NORMAL person or they will think I’m mentally ill.

Where are we going?

What is the future?

Jesus said And you will know the TRUTH, and the Truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)

Jesus knew that women needed to be protected. He knew that in the present Biblical day and the days to come, women would be under attack from the Enemy. Because of this, He made sure His Angels were in place to protect them at all times.

The Bible depicts female prophets.

But a woman can’t be a prophet, says all men.

Deborah was a prophet. She was a leader and a Judge also. (Judges 1:1)

When I was a teenager, I was prophesied over. The prophecy is coming to pass.

Men will always be on top. It’s the way of the world. We need men. They need women.

We are not robots. We just need to choose how to love. Love is a choice, not a demand.

Jesus wants us to choose love, not prophecy.

(JUDGES 2:14) “So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and He gave them into power of plunderers who robbed them; and He sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could no longer stand before their foes.”

  1. Let Him be the love you need and from there will flow that same love to others… there is no “how to” there is only “let God arise…”. Simplicity is the path to authenticity. Appreciate the post.
